The few survivors create "Projection Clones" in a desperate attempt to rebuild civilization, and bring back life to the Void. These new life forms are capable of exploring the unexplored to find essential sources. These Projection Clones, which are tasked with finding the hidden islands rising from the Void to retrieve human survivors who have been preserved, represent the only hope of humanity's last hope. The ever-present threat to humanity's existence is the Izverg. They are colossal creatures made from negative energy congealing within the Void.
